Tour and Album Rease Show

In about 4 weeks we're going on a tour all over Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, UK and France. There's still some dates open and if someone out there is able to help us get some more gigs, that'd be great.

On the 20th of February we're going to do an album release show at the Helsinki Klub in Zürich together with our good friends and studio neighbours Echo 106 from Brunnen.

New Directions

We're very, very surprised, excited, also kind of confused, but all in all very happy that Tatum Rush, Guitar Player of Great Black Waters is quite unexpectedly going to play the part of the Beggar in Giuseppe Verdis' "La Triviata" at the Grand Theatre de Geneve in January next year!




And at the Helmhaus in Zürich there's an Exhibition going on until the end of January 2013 with a piece by Björn called "Did you ever try to hug the sky behind your head", which is alot of amps and speakers that spread their electric buzz all day long
Last Friday there was a concert by "J&L Defer" (of Disco Doom) in that very space and they played on those very amps and it was a very nice!

Songs for a bath>



The first album by GBW is called "Songs for a bath" and is gonna be released on 12" Vinyl in January 2013.
It's part of a series of recordings by GBW that are going to be released in the future.

And in March 2013 Great Black Waters is going on a European tour spanning Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, UK and France.

Album and Shows

The Debut Album of GBW is almost finished and it's only a matter of time
when and where it's going to be released! Also there are shows coming up in 2012,
starting off on the 17th of August at the Nox Orae Festival in Vevey
and a show at the UFO Club in Bienne. More to be confirmed!

7 Track Cassette Ep & Soundtrack & Debut Album

The first release of Great Black Waters is ready and will be released on the
28th of November. Das Andere Selbst, a label based in Berlin, puts out a highly
limited audio cassette EP that comes in a beautiful handmade package.

Have a walk to Rotterdam>

Moonlight Drive

Nach und nach verlassen uns die guten Geister,
was uns erstaunt als wir sie schon vor langer Zeit verlassen haben.
